Or you can stroll across the road to the beach and watch the waves roll in as planes take off and land off to your left.

If you’re as lucky as we were, Seven Mile Beach is a great place to catch the Aurora Australis, as known as the Southern Lights.

Cons:

  • You do need a car when staying here

We loved our stay here. Our son loved waking up every morning and watching the Pademelons out the back window and feeding them vegetable scrape in the afternoons. We were lucky enough to catch Aurora Australis on most nights of our stay. It was even showing up in photos from around the resort, even with all the light pollution. We definitely recommend this resort for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing place to stay.
